Innovative Ideas

We are an Association of over 1000+members settled in Chennai (formerly Madras), capital of Southern Indian State of Tamilnadu, but with origins in the North Indian State . Our Association was started in 1963, by a group of 25 enterprising and service minded youth, mostly financiers and businessmen, who came together to foster fellowship, imbibe leadership and serve society selflessly. Today, we have amongst our members, professionals in the fields of accountancy, engineering and business administration, technologists, lawyers, industrialists and businessmen.
Royal Youth Association (RYA), a pioneer in the field of social service is today one of the most respected Associations in Chennai, looked up to by various other Associations for guidance in social service projects and for fostering fellowship and imbibing leadership.
We now aim to spread our movement to other cities in India and around the world. We welcome enquries by other Associations or groups of people who would like to take up service projects like the Book Bank. For, at RYA, we believe that service to society is the best way to foster fellowship amongst people and help them acquire leadership qualities.

Various corporations, community groups, foundations and individual donors generously provide both funds and in-kind products and services necessary to create an amazing experience for each and every Child. We want to thank them all for their commitment to bringing smiles to children with life-threatening illnesses around the country. These generous partners bring wish children light during a time of darkness and joy in place of pain. Thank you for all you do! Wishes could not come true without you!
